Interest Inquiry

  • E-mail of Interest is Received  

  • MSW students who are First-Year, Second-Semester (Spring) AND Second-Year are eligible for the RAMHP program

 

Application and Interview

  • Clinical Supervisor will send an e-mail response to the intern to conduct a virtual interview

 

Complete Memorandum of Understanding

  • If a Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) is in place, CS will schedule an interview date/time

  • If MOU is not in place, CS will complete required documents before scheduling interview date/time

Acceptance

  • Upon completion of interview, an Acceptance or Decline Letter is sent to the intern

  • Specifying the start date and provide all Admin documents required to be completed by the intern

 

TB Test and Live Scan

  • All interns are expected to get a TB test and a Live scan (background check)

Intern Orientation

  • Upon receiving clearance from Human Resources, the intern will receive an invitation for Intern Orientation where they will complete required trainings, review legal HR documents, and agency polices/procedures

 

Training and Learning Agreement

  • Individual (1 Hr) and Group Supervision (2 Hrs)  will be scheduled for all interns

  • Schedule of trainings will be provided, along with materials/supplies

  • Clinical Supervisor will  support intern in developing, signing of their individualized Learning Agreement 

 

Fieldwork Experience Begins (total of 960 hours)

  • Interns are assigned to their school sites and partnered with 2-3 mentoring social workers 

  • First-Year Interns (Spring semester) will complete 320 Hours per Semester

  • Interns will focus on “Mentoring” (shadowing) a Mental Health Triage Social Worker at a minimum of 2 school sites

    • First 100 Hours: Mentoring/Shadowing only 

    • Second 100 Hours: Providing services with MH Triage Social Worker present 

    • Final 120 Hours: Providing services Independently (second day of support for one site)

  • Second-Year Interns (Fall-Spring) will complete 320 Hours per Semester

    • 200 Hours: Providing services with MH Triage Social Worker present 

    • Final 120 Hours: Providing services Independently (second day of support for one site) 

 

Field Experience Ends

  • Clinical supervisor will complete, sign, and provide copy of Field Evaluations
